Terms and conditions

What this site is, what you can do with the files that come out of it, and how the subscription works. Written to be understood in one read.

This is a translation of the Spanish original. If the two versions ever disagree, the Spanish one is the one that counts.

Who is behind this

Arteman Cut (cut.artemanmultilayer.pro) is a site run by Leandro Arteman, from Argentina. For anything at all —a question, a problem with a charge, a template that does not do what it should— the address is leandro@cut.artemanmultilayer.pro.

Using the site means you accept what follows. If there is something you are not happy with, write to us before paying.

What the service is

Tools that build vector files —SVG and DXF— to the measurements you type in, for laser cutting. The designs are worked out in your browser: the site never receives your measurements or your files. The one exception is the AI photo, which sends a picture of the 3D view, and only if you ask for it (see the privacy policy).

What you get is a file, not a cut part. The machine, the material, the power and the kerf are yours, and they are what decide whether the part fits.

What you can do with the files

The rule, in one line: sell the cut piece, not the file.

Using the site

No automated downloading, no working around the plan limits, no getting into other people's accounts and no bringing the server down. An account doing that gets closed, and if it had a subscription it is cut off without a refund.

The site changes

This is under development and it shows: templates get added, bugs get fixed and now and then a tool changes how it solves something. There may be downtime, for maintenance or for the hosting. If Pro is down for a long stretch, write to us and we will make up for it.

Liability

The file comes out calculated, but you are the one cutting. Before committing a whole sheet: check the measurements, set your machine's kerf and run a test on an offcut.

We are not liable for wasted material, for parts that do not fit because the material was not the thickness you entered, or for the use of the machine, which has its own risks and its own safety rules. The service is offered as is. In any case, the most that can be claimed is whatever you paid over the last twelve months.

Changes to these terms

If they change, the date at the top changes; and if the change matters, we let Pro subscribers know by email. Carrying on using the site after a change means accepting it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Argentina, and any dispute goes before the competent ordinary courts. Before it gets that far, write to us: almost everything gets sorted out by email.
